There will be three components:

  1. Required:  Interview a veteran with the form below (you may ask additional questions that you are interested in).  Ask your parents for help in finding a veteran, you probably have a family member or neighbor who is a veteran.

    1. If you don’t have access to a veteran, see Mr. Olson, I have several options.

  2. Optional:  Honoring friends and family who have served by decorating a heros wall.  Make a list of people who have served, military branch, and years/war.  Put the information in the table below and in class we will make the stars to honor our veterans:

    1. Red = those who have served and are currently alive.

    2. Blue = those who served and have passed away since serving.

    3. White = those currently serving.

  3. Optional:  Shared SlideShow to recognize veterans.  If you have pictures and information about your family member or family friend that has served or is currently serving in the military you can add a slide to our Middle School Shared SlideShow that will be shown the week of Veterans Day.  See Mr. Olson’s website for the link to add pictures and I can help you.
