Thanks for being so awesome and thanks for being willing to dig in and challenge yourself!

Here are a couple of things to consider:

  1. Maps
    1. Instead of just memorizing all 50 states which you probably already know...you can challenge yourself to something that takes more work
      1. Capitals, Major Cities in each state, or another topic state name origin, etc.
      2. Look at these maps and investigate one of the maps/data - or check out these maps also
      3. Map out something you are interested in based on a topic and color cordinate the map based on a data range (a population topic, etc - check out topic ideas from StateMaster
  2. Investigate - Go beyond what you already know...
    1. Find out the nicknames for major US cities - easy example:  Philadelphia - City of Brotherly Love, etc
    2. Why did sports teams get their names (geographical, cultural, or historical reasons are many of the reasons behind their names)
    3. We will be doing a history bracket of important dates coming up, but if you would like to make your own bracket based on research you can - see me for more details
    4. Create a Top 10 list of different topics you are interested based on the US - physical features, economic ideas, largest, biggest, etc.
    5. Current events around the USA - maybe you can create a "this side vs. this side" argument/poster
  3. Create
    1. You could create a CIA type of game like my European CIA challenge
    2. Create a breakout box scenario - it is like an Escape room at the mall, but in a classroom
    3. 3D physical map of the USA
    4. Collage of the US based on our American culture

Maybe you have something else in mind totally different than what I am thinking...I am all game for it!  I trust you and am excited about your discovery into learning!
